Cyber Defense Lab

The Cyber Defense Lab (CDL) is the main lab for CISA. The CDL provides an isolated environment where students are provided a unique opportunity to research topics that would ordinarily be considered too dangerous to network and system resources or to be investigated in other computer labs.

The CDL meets bi-weekly hosting both a free distinguished lecture series on information security and student presentations on current research. The CDL is located in ITE 228 at the UMBC main campus.
